How to Recertify

1. Sign In to Your Account

You can sign in on the Sign In page.

After you sign in, you will be taken to your Account page.

On this page you will see your current certification, along with information about whether you're eligible to recertify


2. If Available, Click the Recertify Button

If your current certification is in a valid recertification period (three months before to one year after expiration), you will see a Recertify button. Click the button to go to the Recertification page.

You will be taken to the Recertification page.


3. Check Your Eligibility

On the Recertification page you will be shown whether, according to our records, you are fully eligible to recertify.

If you are eligible, you will see an Apply for Recertification button. Click that button to continue.


4. Fill Out the Online Recertification Form

Fill out the multi-page form with the requested information.

Changes that you make to your contact information, work history, and training history will be saved to your account to make future registrations easier.


4. Submit Payment

You may pay by check or credit card.

After you submit payment (or indicate that you will send a check), your application is complete.


5. Wait for the Results of your Application Review

Once your recertification application is submitted, the Academy will review it and validate your work experience and training. If your application is not adequate or appropriate, the Academy will notify you.

When your application has been found to be in order, we will provide you with a final confirmation and update the certification in your account.
